Wing coming off?

Hi. I have a Cobalt SS TC, with the small wing. I'm wondering if the adhesive might be coming loose. There is a millimeter gap between the wing base and the trunk lid on both sides of the wing. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this? Does anyone have pictures of the way it 'should' look? The trunk is not opened by the wing. Thanks!

Try tightening the bolts on the inside of the trunk lid?

So if you shine a light on the bottom of the wing, you can see it on the opposite side?

I feel like I have a loose wing issue as well. Checked the bolts underneath in the trunk all fine. But when I close it seems to be more movement then should be. Damn little kid thought I was hiding his bro in my trunk when they were playing hide and seek and my work. Kid pushed up on the wing trying to open the closed trunk lol

Yes. The gap is ≤ 1 millimeter.

And, to get to the bolts, does the carpet inside the trunk lid detach/attach easily?

I'm surprised by this because when I removed my lowrise I had a HELL of a time getting all the adhesive off.

Same here. Ive always read that it was quite a process to get the wing off a trunk.

It's absolutely awful trying to get the wing off.

I'm a body tech and it's the worst I've ever seen.
