Woooohooooo

Took my car in yesterday for it's strange problem, and I called them today to see what the status was. I was worried they weren't going to think anything was wrong since it's an intermittent problem, but after driving it the service guy said it did exactly what I described, and they're looking into it now. Yaaayy!! Hopefully it will be done soon.

Update on last page.

It's hard cause there's no CEL to help them out pinpoint what's wrong.

That's what happened to mine, they couldn't find out exactly what was damaged so they replaced almost everything.lol

Kinda sounds like a boost leak. Not exactly rocket science for a performance shop to fix but the dealership probably doesn't even know it has a turbo. So good luck

Or you can suggest they check for leaks...

I was very descriptive with my problem, and it's not a typical boost leak because I did a log and it just wasn't right at all, it was knocking, and I guess was only gettin 50% throttle at WOT. Some times it would hit 22 psi just fine, or it would and then rapidly fall down, or it wouldn't hit full boost at all. Does the same thing on the stock ecu.

Throttle position sensor maybe? If the TPS is all over the map that might explain your boost "leak"..the ECM would in fact be modifying inputs to the engine resulting in less exhaust flow. Might be worth having them look since they're probably going over every square inch of charge piping looking for a hole .
