Are these for the cavalier

http://store.r1concepts.com/Items/It...es%20-%20Front

Is there any modding needed to be done? Or are they direct bolt on?

There is no modifications needed to put the rotors on. Direct bolt-on.

Eline series rotor are standard iron grade. The material is like your originals made with cast iron g3000. My Premium series rotors are made with a stronger iron casting and comes with stronger rust protection coating which is only applied on the hub and inner vane structures (E-coat rather then just zinc). Also the construction on the Premiums are exact to your originals as far as vane structures and vents etc. The Elines will also fit with no mods needed but the structure is aftermarket design.

I've been running these breaks probably before anyone else on the site.....almost 2 and a half years now and they are awesome. Heat is dropped a lot and no more stock warpage and they just look cool, and also no more break dust.

To all that buy their rotor sets with pads will not be let down.

Viper, you running their cheaper pads or the Hawk HPS's?
Also how are the rotors holding up? Any rusting or corrosion or anything..?

I will likely grab a set with HPS's.

When I got the deal a long time ago they had the PosiQuiet pads which are awesome. Not as good as HPS pads but nice.

They are holding up nicely, no lip yet and sometimes I ride them hard.

Only rust forms when I was the car or it sits for a little bit but I just slowly put the breaks on the wear it off. But that's on any breaks, the coating will rub off.

All-in-all I'm very happy with them, and they offer awesome support thru e-mails, and AIM.

My friend ordered a set for his Malibu and he's never been happier since he's ridding on 20's he needed something to expel the heat. He called them and placed an order and got an extra $10 off I believe.

Viper, thanks for the heads up. I understand the issue with surface rust forming on the face of the rotor. Like you said, that goes away after the first time you apply the brakes.

What about rust on the hub, vanes, or any other part of the rotors? That is what I am most concerned about as my stock rotors have decided to rust as have others I have used in the past.

R1 Concepts, what will be the absolute last chance to purchase your rotors & pads package? I am still a bit up in the air...

Look in my gallery for some better pics. Got mine a few weeks ago

If you do get them get the paint kit too if you haven't painted your calipers yet.
