Dear rebel autoworxs....or autowrongs

that is my throttle body spacer, the one that up untill when i received it, was supposed to be free. along with the throttle body that i didn't even receive. that IS WHAT WE WORKED OUT VIA PM's.

the drilled/tapped hole for the methanol nozzle is very poor quality. it is offcenter. SO offcenter infact. that the thread-to-outside wall is LESS THAN 1/16" of an inch. yes thats right, less than. the threads are not clean at all. the top looks like you stuck a chamfering bit on the end of an air ratchet and tried to make it work(i shall note that even though i was not able to fully focus this picture....you can still see the terrible accuracy of whoever does your drilling, AND the terrible chamfer) and if you say that was CNC'd, i suggest you invest in a new cnc....one that isn't powered by hamsters on spinning wheels and monkeys holding tools. the outside edges and faces are COVERED in chips and nics and scratches. and don't try to say its from shipping. becuase the amount of ******* NEWS PAPER ADS YOU USED AS PACKING MATERIAL left no room for movement. also, the intake would have suffered damage if indeed it was caused during shipment. which the intake had no damage.

so here's what IS going to happen. i am callin the credit card company tomorrow first thing in the morning. i will tell them my situation, and they will refund the $55USD that i apparently paid for this spacer AFTER i was told it was going to be free, because i waited from MARCH TWENTYFUCKINGSECOND UNTILL EARLY MAY before i recieved this. now, you will send me a replacement spacer, which will be top notch quality, the threads will be clean and chased with a nice chamfer, the outside will be clean and free of nics, and it will work porporly on the car. along with this new spacer you will include a return envelope, box, whatever, i don't ******* care. so i can send you back this defective spacer at no charge to me.

if you fail to send a return envelope, or the new spacer you send is AGAIN not of proper quality of a product that i waited over a month and a half to recieve. i will be keeping both spacers and my $55.

i will not ask you "do we have a deal?" because what i just said is final.

... oh wow.
Your going to file a credit card claim against them, and expect another free spacer? lol... your dreaming.
I'd be surprised if they even respond to this thread, let alone comply with your demands.

we've done it before. all you have to do is show that the product was not of quality, and they also know that i sent the money to rebel on the 22nd of march, becuase i was about to just cancel my order all together because it took so long. i had the cc company on the phone and rebel via pm's. thats where the free throttle body and spacer shpiel(sp) came in. so i decided to stick it out. but sure enough, i was charged for the spacer and didn't recieve any throttle body.

wow man. if they ***** out of this **** and JUST refund you the money and not send a new spacer i would say do everything in your power to get justice. call the Better Business Bureau and whatever.

make sure they know that **** like that can't go unnoticed.

for the amount of time it took you to receive that thing i could have made you one myself.

and that threaded hole is absolute ****.

i work in the avionics industry making instruments for aircraft and even flight control and weapon control computer casings for almost all military planes/ helicopters. and if we EVER sent out a product with as shitty a threading as that they would send us the part back, file a rejection (which is kind of like being blacklisted) AND force us to refund the cost of the purchase order, most of the time keeping the good parts and still making us refund the ENTIRE amount.

this should be no different. i know i drive a pos 2.2 but i wouldn't even put a piece such as that one on my vehicle. there is no way in hell that should be kosher.

Sure, I know you can cancel the order... that's not hard to do. But expecting another spacer after you file the CC claim... not going to happen.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong.. but that's what it sounds like you are expecting.

On a similar note, did you call them after receiving the spacer?
You generally get better results if you call them, rather than post a rant on some forum that they don't care about.

yes, and this mistake should have been recognized and remade the instant it happened. you can't misdrill, mischamfer a piece of aluminum and not notice it the instant it happens. i mean seriously. how do you not see what literally JUST happened
