My powersteeing....

My powersteering just went out...does it matter that im not stock? they should fix it regardless because none of my mods are related to the powersteering and its their fault right?

I think it depends on the dealer if you could, just to be safe, try to hide them or put the stock parts back on for the visit to get it looked at

Obviously i knew there was a recall...thats why i posted this in the recall section. Im asking if my mods affect the validity of the recall.

Just take it in and they will fix it. It was a nation wide recall. It would have failed if you were stock so just take it in and tell them to fix it.

How many miles do you have on your car? They said the original power steering motors go out around 40k.

mods will not affect a safety recall. They have to fix at take off and put on any mods that you have done that are in the way of the work that needs to be done.

Quick ? My car has a blue salvaged rebuilt tittle.......I got the first letter but didn't take it in till it went out... and after 7 hours at the dealer ship. (Droped it off) I go back and they denied the fix...... I know have gotten the second letter but I already paid and installed the new motor myself. Anyway I can get my money back if I take my reciept and 2nd letter?

Having the problem but can't go to a dealer

Im having problems with my steering wheel but I can't take it to a dealer in the US, because Im in Bolivia. The car is a 2007 2.0 LSJ SS (US version) and reading from you guys, owner manuals and other sources I discover that the EPS fuse of 2 Amp was not working, fried I mean. So, I went out to get a new fuse but I only found of 3 Amp. Would it work? it matters 1 Amp of diff?...Besides that, what else should I check to try to fix the power steering wheel..
