cleaning/conditioning leather?

what do you guys use to clean/ condition the leather in your cars? a few friends recommended MEGUIAR'S LEATHER CLEANER/CONDITIONER WIPES and it turned out to be a nightmare. There is greasy residue left on seats and trim. I gave it a few days figuring maybe it would soak in to the leather but its still blotchy in a lot of places and i need a way to clean up the mess. what do you guys suggest will clean up the greasy residue and what can i use in the future to clean/condition the leather?

nobody????

I use Armor All wipes on the leather and dash and they work great for me.

Recently I switched from that to Eagle One Nano leather cleaner and condtioner. I like it better and it is easier to apply.

did you also experience the greasy residue? if so how did you clean it off? i don't want to wing it and make it worse so i'm hoping i can find someone who has had this issue before.

Hmm, I used the Meguire leather cleaning/conditioner in the bottle. There was some initial barely noticeable streaking but after a week or so it went away and the seats look great.

There was a bit of a residue but not as bad and as greasy as the meguire's and the residue doesn't seem to last as long. It also seems to fill/soak it in better.

Turbo Wax LVR, Leather Vinyl & rubber. Brilliant stuff, and it leaves a nice new car smell, without being ott. It lasts really well, it actually soaks in, and the bonus is you can use it on the vinyl and rubber too.

I use that stuff too, it rocks!

Don't use Amor All on your dash, after time it will cause it to crack

Please let us know how that work for you, I ask because not long ago I try their wipes and it was a huge mess with little results.

Don't be scared, it was just my experience, some products work well for some but no for others, I try other products before I replace my seats, lol

Most of the time everyone has "concerns" about a new product, worst case give us a try on our leather care, I put the "If not 100 % happy return the product and your money back"

i tryed the lexol cleaner on all seats and trim and the rag showed some dirt so it definitly cleaned and left no residue at all. the leather didn't get that greasy shine either which i was very happy about. then i used the lexol conditioner on all seats and trim and i must say i was very impressed. once again no residue or shine left behind.

Overall Review: the lexol spray cleaner and lexol spray conditioner worked great. easy to apply, no foul odors, and it kept the leather looking the way leather should look. I will surely use these products for eternity or until someone can prove to me there is something better i should be using.

To Turbo Wax: thank you for your interest and concern. i recommend you give these lexol products a try, because i'm very picky when it comes to what i use on my car and lexol just cnvinced me to buy their products.

That's a bit of downside.
