I just had my car detailed yesterday buy a buddie of mine..im satisfide with it and what not..but for somereson i dont think it looks as good as it could..and i was wondering if its okay too redo everything even after i just had it done..like rewash and everything..rewax repolish..reclay everything

Yeah if he waxed it and stuff. I'd say maybe just rewax it with a good polish. That will probably get the results you want.

If not then use dish soap to strip it and wash and rewax the whole thing. Good waste of time unless it's bad.

ask the dealer for their products that they used...alot of time a good waxing is dependent on the kind of wax, polish per color of your car

he had a bunch of things..alot of the stuff was old and stuff so the lables or all ripped of..i have mothers cleaner wax a buffer and i was gonna get some polish..theres just some like water spots left on my car..and he was a moron and he used a regular towel and tar remover on my hood in one spot to get these like..idk they look like waterspots or somthing stuck on the hood..but he took that and rubed it on and it marked my hood a bit..i was like.ur a idiot bro...and i just wanna get that stuff out..nothing else better to do today..and ide like to see if i can get all the paint swerls off

a good wax will not swirl either...but yea you can as the other guy said, just use dish soap to strip the wax off an then go at it with a good polish, wax and cleaner wax and it should be good...mequiars is fine, or eagle one...just don't use turtle wax....if you don't mind spending the money i always hear good things about the 3M products but i use eagle one nanowax on my car and its black.
