Smile Detailed with Meguiares! *alot of pics*

So I detailed the car today. Although, its shitty outside, it has not rain yet. So I got it done and took some pics. Any questions do ask. I used the following:

ICE liquid clay bar
Meguiares Gold Glass soap wash
Meguiares Tech 2.0 wax
Meguiares Tire shine
Mequiares interior wipes

Hood

My daughter likes her pic taken!

Thanks guys, it was 15 bucks for the wax, 7 for the wash, 15 for the clay bar, 4 for the interior wipes, and 6 for the tire shine. So 47 bucks worth of stuff. I may try turbo wax it is cheaper and does just as a good job according to some people on here. But i got all the big bottles of stuff not the small ones.

I use their professional line of products....You think that stuff works great, try their Mirror Glaze line. With a high speed buffer and the proper pads...Nothing comes close that I have used. Looks really good though. And Victory Red FTW!

Sometimes if you are lucky you can find it at Advance Auto Parts Store. You will most likely have to buy it online from their site. I warn you, it's not cheap. Also, there are steps to go in.

-Clay bar
-Diamond Cut Compound
-Swirl remover
-Synthetic Sealant
-High Tech Yellow Wax

It's a process and with a high speed buffer it's not too much of a PITA, just time consuming.

I have a buffer. Now do you do all those each time? I have no swirls in my paint so i dont see why i would need the swirl remover unless there is a method to the madness!

Definitely not. You should only have to do that process once. As long as you maintain your paint, you should only have to wash it and then put on a coat of the 2.0 or w/e it is that you used. You also have a new car too. Mine has some years on it.

I need to wash/wax my car though. I hate that the water doesn't really bead off of it right now. And I need to clay bar the hell out of it. I have bonded contaminants like no other. car is not slippery whatsoever.

Oh ok that is what i thought. Yeah that is how you can tell your car needs to be detailed when its not smooth and slippery. When the paint feels odd like rough time to detail lol!

i went from meguiars to turbowax and turbowax won hands down for me on my car. Went on and came off easier and had a deeper shine. I had been using meguiars for 3 years prior to switching.

Car looks good though, i had always liked the meguiars line of product, still use their car soap and tire shine
