Detailing/Restoration

Hey, guys Im just curious to see how clean everyone keeps their cars. I have been a proud owner of my cobalt since November 2006. I purchased the car brand new, since that day I have taken very good care of it. I wanted to keep it in prestigious condition, with all that aside im going to post some pics of my detail work. The car im posting is my friends 05 Sunfire, some will be of my cobalt aswell..

I just washed mine. I started using meguiars ultimate compound, tech wax 2.0 and meguairs clay bar kit. Took me 3 hours to do hood, passenger front quarter panel and the top of the spoiler. I realized with doing the detail that you need a differrnt polishing bonnet for each thing you apply. For the ultimate compound I applied it with a terry cloth bonnet and polished with a wool bonnet. Then I used the applicator provided with the tech wax and used a seperate wool bonnet for the polishing step.

These where from last summer. I detailed the inside a week ago. Then it went back into the 30-40's here. So never got a chance to do the outside.

Just detailed my car. Finally some decent weather to finally get it done. First off i used a clay bar then used the new turtle wax black box. this was the first time i had ever used turtle wax on my car and it turned out really well. i would recommend using this product for your black car. lots of steps and time in this but the outcome turned out really well.
