Glaze for Swirl Marks

How many of you use glaze to hide your swirl marks. For those of you that do how long does the glaze typically last before the swirls reappear. Any recommended brands. The only one I really know of is 3M.

Y would you want to hide swirl marks? If you know how to buff a car you don't need glaze

Im looking for a quick temporary solution. Applying glaze is quick. Im not one to bust out a buffer with the little experience I have on a new car.

Learn to wash and dry your vehicle properly and you won't have swirl problems.

um I use a microfiber wash mit and Meguiars deep crystal soap and and as of now I have let it air dry (and yes I know this causes water spots) What am I doing wrong then?

my car's hood has been under savage attack of mineral-rich sprinklers and a damn tree constantly spewing sap all over the area. i bought a carport so i wouldn't have this kinda thing going on but nooooo. rest of the car, paint looks brilliant, get to the hood and it's invasion of the etched clear coat. i clay bar'd it two week ago, it pulled the minerals out of the etches, but since i didn't follow up with the last step it really needed, those etches were still there and have since refilled haha.

SwirlX is not a glaze, it's a mildly abrasive paint cleaner. It's designed to eliminate swirls, not just hide them. Just so you know.

Meguiar's SwirlX. Buff it on with a polisher. I've tried to do it by hand but have been unimpressed by results compared to using a polisher.

Once you've done it once, wash your car right so you don't have to do it again. Soapy water bucket and dirty water bucket separate, QUALITY microfiber only (no lint leftover).
