gravel roads
Well my girlfriend moved out into a somewhat rural area so now i have to drive down a gravel road to get to her house. I drive really slow on the gravel (about 40km/h) but i know i am still gonna get chips, mostly on my rocker panels. does anyone know anything i could use to protect my car from the loose gravel?

Mud Flaps?
|
-Park at the end of the gravel road.
-slow down -dont drive at all -get the clear sheets that protect body panels. |
wait for it to rain before u go see her

I never use this product but just to give you an idea of something that could work

Drive 20 km/h!

post pics (ideally those that feature her cleavage and thongs) so that we may all vote on if she is, or is not worth scratching your car over.

Make her walk to the end of her road, lol. We live on a semi-long gravel road also, it sucks! :thumbsdow

like kayne west said in one of his songs..., drive slow homie!
|
drive slower...like really slow...
|
yeah i think that will really minimize the chips
|
it does, my cabin is up a 6mile gravel road and that did the trick for me

If you drive down gravel roads often, it might be a good idea to invest in a clear bra.
http://www.clearbra.ca/index.htm If you visit that link, they have quite a few options for our car, including a rocker panel protection package. It is pricey, but so is a repaint :) |

I'd be more worried about the pickup truck going 90km/h comming at you with a cloud of dust and rocks comming at you. I've been down many dirt/stone roads and havent gotten any chips that i've seen. Just go slow.

go really fast so the car gets really dirty and has lots of rock chips and then when people ask about just tell them you are a professional rally racer

I have the 3M on my front end, the front half of each fenders, the A pillers, the rocker panels, and behind the rear tires. In addition to flaps. It really makes a difference. And the best part is, the only thing you see is the mudflaps. Until it gets dusty, then the dust sticks to the vinyl. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o...8/IMG_2033.jpg I got Sharp Auto in Stoon to do mine, and they have a few other "mobile vans" in the Regina area they can come around with. Rosetown also has a 3M place, but i don't know how close you are to them. |
