the clear coat chipped i guess? not really sure, because it left a circular pattern where it hit, anyone know how to finish it over to get it looking normal again. Didn't wash out, didn't come out with scratch remover FYI.

wet sand, buff and polish should get rid of it

very light wet sand though it shouldnt take much to remove the little marks

Shitty news man. Not sure if that can buff out, I do believe it needs a re spray...
Is it just me or is the SS/SC a vandal magnet? I mean, I saw one up here the other day in a mall parking lot with the wing half ripped off and a white streak down the side (keyed).

I cant remember the last time I saw a Teggy or something vandalized. Usually they just get stolen...

Sucks to hear man. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst things someone can do b/c the egg shell actually cuts into the clearcoat, making it near impossible to simply buff out. Wetsanding may be able to improve the appearance, but if it was hit hard enough to break the shell, chances are its deep enough that'll it'll need a respray to be back to 100% again. Find the ones that did it ... paybacks are a bitch

If you want to try polishing it, you can give some ssr2 a shot. Just about the strongest you can use by hand. If you have a pc/udm, you can bump up in aggressiveness, but either way, I dont think you're going to have much luck in all honesty.... although, I hope I'm wrong

this was random never happened before, my car was parked across the street from my house so I left it open for the hit and run. sounds like clear coat and wet sand is the way to go ,the area it hit is like 4 in diameter on the right side of the trunk next to the tail light
