yeah its funny u asked that because like 2 hours before u asked i was at a shop and my buddy asked him how much and it comes down to about 800 plus

im a painter, heres the best way to get it out.

wetsand the areas with 1500 grit sand paper. make sure you keep it wet with a water hose or something while you are sanding in circles with your hand. dry it off. you will be able to tell where you missed. make sure you dont burn thru the clearcoat. with 1500, its pretty hard to do that anywaz. even use 1000 grit to wetsand.

buy a bottle of 3M Perfect-IT. ITS fairly xpensive for a bottle.

get a HIGHSPEED buffer. the cheap ones wont get the job done. i use dewalt grinder and threw a buffer pad on it. put some PERFECT-IT on pad and on car and start buff away. you want to use a high speed. the heat generated is what makes the shine!

go back and forth constantly. do not stay in one spot, you will burn through!

your shine will come very quickly and you will love it!

dont buy those over counter crap they sell. this is best way to do it. and dont wash your car at a carwash or use ANY rag other than a microfiber. PERIOD.
