Need help removing decal residue

I had decals on my rear windshield and removed them but when I'm washing my car I can see the outlining of where they were.

Anyone know how to get rid of this problem. Someone said steel wool but I'm not sure what kind to use

Help please

00 if anything, but I don't think I'd do that.

goo gone. Just be careful not to drip it on the upholstery.

Goo gone and goo off are ur best options... Just spray some into a cloth and scrub on it with it or apply a coat over the decal residue and wait for a few minutes...then wipe off..easy

Walmart has them on paint section

When its dry you can't see a thing but once water hits it, you can see a "ghost image"

Ill try adhesive remover again with more muscle

Pour gasoline. Then lit a match. Watch it disappear.
