Now this is how you correctly detail your cars.

I wrote these for other forums since I run the detailing forum for my tundra truck. I figured I would post them up over here as well. They are written for a truck, but the same process and chemicals can be used on a balt.

If you follow these instructions, I bet that your car will be cleaner and better proctected from the elements than it has ever been, for less money and dramaticly less effort. I have only been on this forum for a while, and already I have seeen some detail confusion and wrong answers.

Here ya go!

Where to buy the stuff you need from and good brands of car detailing supplies.

I have coached hundreds of people through this and all of them came back saying WOW, this is soo much easier and better looking than I thought! I hope yall may do the same.

Have fun with this, detailing isnt a chore, I promise.

Brandon, the biggest problem I have is calcium deposits(water spots ) on the exterior glass. I've used glass stovetop cleaner which works well if the spots are fairly new but the old baked on spots (like my truck) are gining me ulcers.I've tried just about any thing I could think of.Any ideas?

Try some #0000 steel wool and Brasso. If that does not work, contact a local car detailer and get them to machine polish them out.
