Back to black. I think that's what it's called. Go to Wal-mart Red bottle. It works perfectly

It is hard for me to believe that you need a product to remove wax from plastic moldings, when in reality some products will not harm you plastic trim, when I see staff like this it makes me wonder about the quality of that wax in use. it is more amazing that company's make a product to remove the wax, if that was me after the first time that happens to me, I be placing that product in the garbage bin and I be moving on to a better product, there's no way I could deal with such of pain every time I wax my car.

Back to black I heard works wonders. Meguiars step 1 in the 3 step system also works.

That used to happen to me but I have since went to using one of those sponge things when waxing near the black plastic on the mirrors and on the painted part of the mirror as well.

About the back to black, it is alright but too much of a pain in the **** and more work than it's worth.

Also a little tip, you could use painters tape to tape off the black part before waxing so that doesn't happen and save yourself ~$8 on a bottle of back to black.

or you could get some black magic tire cleaner(the spray can) and clean your tires and black plastic trim(exterior of car). works for me and my plastic is still perfect. oh and i use synthetic wax because it wont leave residue plus i personally think it looks better.

Seconded...

I haven't used Black Wow! personally, but I've seen many before and after shots on various detailing forums. The results are great.

Also, 303 is my go-to dressing. It dries to a nice, even finish. Use it in the engine bay, on trim pieces, on the dashboard, shift boot, on any piece of rubber or plastic, it serves its purpose well.

The only thing I don't use it for is the wheel wells, I've got Meguair's Hyper Dressing for that. It's a bit more cost effective seeings that 303 costs me about $13 dollars a bottle
