Sooo i got my car detailed

I'm actually pretty pissed off because now that it's clean i see a lot of scrathes and dents i didn't know was there. I got my emblems removed today on the rear and they chipped the paint but are paying to re paint the whole deck lid for free next week. But there are TONS of scrathes and chips i have never seen before. This harsh winter and snow and all the crap they put on the roads really tear the car up. I don't know what i'm going to do about all of it..

Did you detail the car??? When you bring it some where to get detailed they use a buffer and what not and can get most of them out.

ha most dealership products suck... every dealership i've worked at had shitty products... if you are going to buff them out yourself get some good cutting compound from 3M or properautocare.com has some good products out there... Being a detailer i always keep my car clean and alotta cars along with these have tin for a body.. very easy to ding and dent... 3 days after i bought my car i had to remove 3 dents on the hood

It shouldn't be too hard to repair the little chips and scratches yourself, and minor dents shouldn't cost too much to get repaired.

Thanks guys for your input, i may take it to my body shop and have them look at it because they do a lot of stuff for free for me if not really really cheap.

$75 is hella cheap for a good detail... I would avoid that place.

dealerships do not detail. they ruin paint. you need to seek out a true professional and fork up the money for a professional job. chances are you can get many of the imperfections out.

www.autopia.org, id search around and see if there is anyone in your area

true... lol i detail at a dealership and to be honest you gotta think of it this way... Do you really think a person paid 8.50/hr flat rate to do a MAJOR detail which is a 6hr job at my dealership will do the detail like it was his own car... i think not. I don't. If i was paid more like 13 bucks or more an hour and was given more than 6hrs to do a detail I'd do it like it was my own car... And yes for me a detail sometimes takes over 6hrs depending on all that you do to it... Since I do it right... at least on my own car not like fly though the **** trying to make a buck or two..

If you live in PA i'd detail your car on the side but i charge around $130 or so depending what it needs and what you want and since you don't know me youz wouldn't want me working on your car anyway lol
