I use Wolfgang's Swirl remover, Glaze, and Paint Sealant. Also the Fuzion wax ontop right after I am done. Really good stuff. On the pricey side though.

I've tried many different brands, they all do the same thing for the most part. It's more the person using the products and their techniques rather than the products themselves.

I couldnt agree more with you. I can make a car look new with the cheapest of waxes and cleaners vs someone who doesnt know what they are doing with expensive top of the line waxes and cleaners.

I have tried all kinds but usually stick with Meguiars...For the time and money it takes Megs Ultimate Quick Wax can't be beat....One of the few quick waxes that will actually hide some swirls..

I actually tried their new black wax yesterday topped with Gold Class Quick Wax on my Moms black SRX and was quite impressed..Might do the Balt today if it doesn't rain...

Hot Rims and Endurance tire shine are also good products and everything is always in stock just down the road..

That time of year, what are you using

Just bought some turtle wax ice wash/wax and followed up with the ice spray wax. Don't know how I feel about the soap. Good on suds but I feel like I can get a better result from something else. I tried gold class and wasn't a fan really. Guess I'm picky lol. I really want to try some chemical guys products for sure.

Also just bought a liquid wax from mothers that I have yet to use. Hoping for good results from that with the pre wax polish I have from meguiers. Second wash of the year so far for me but I have yet to go all out. Clay bar polish wax etc. just a simple wash a spray wax quickly. Kinda hard with no shade possible at the places I was able to wash :(

hawkssoccer11 06-05-2015 03:09 PM

its really all in how you know how to clean up a car. i actually use ivory soap to wash a car im detailing becasuse it takes off a lot more then what a normal car wash would. it helps with taking old grime and previous wax jobs off. then i clay bar, and use either a meguires polish or adams polish and then hit it with the adams butter wax and buffer. but you have to really know what your doing because if you dont like stated before you can have all the adams products and such and it still wont look good.
