Turtle Wax Ice Clay Bar

this all can be summed up with one word, JUNK! i spent 20 minuted rubbing a liquid with a course sponge on my car to remove overspray (i guess my car was too close to the garage even though it was parked no where near it). i kept going over and over and over, to the point i thought i was just going to scratch the paint. i tried other spots, no luck. man was i pissed because i had my day planned out the following day. so i had to wake up early, run to wal mart, buy the mothers clay bar, clay bar the car, then wax it. luckily mothers has never failed me, and all turned out great!!!!!!! made the paint just pop like never before. 4 years strong using mothers products and never a beat missed using the mothers clay bar (other then that fateful 40 minutes with no go on the TW clay bar).

so how does it rate? 0 out of 10. i think rubbing alcohol, as the liquid, and a sponge covered in peanut butter, as the bar, would work better.

my thoughts exactly. but i was on a one stop shopping thing, so i went to target and they didnt have the mothers clay bar, which i always buy. so i thought, well more products to test. so i got the turtle wax ice products. the wax is okay, but the "clay" bar is about the biggest joke ever.

i test ALOT of detailing products.

The liquid cly bar clearly won't work as well as a real bar, but like in this review:
http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...-wax-products/

the liquid clay bar is alot easier and faster, but if you were going to take the car to a show or something, that is another story.
