2K5SS/SC?'s Project Integra Hits the 1/8th!
Well, some have followed my Project Integra build and it has finally got some track time in! I am still deployed right now, but my buddy Chris that I've let tinker around with it a bit while I've been gone took it to the track on Sunday.
On 205/50/15 Fuzion ZRi's it ran a 8.8 spinning down the entire track.
On some nice Lenso drag wheels and MH slicks it ran an 8.0 @ 90mph with a 1.9 60'!
** Note, using an online conversion calculator puts it at 12.3X-12.4 in the quarter mile!
Video of it will be posted once I get ahold of it. Here are some of the power mods:
Stock B18B non-vtec
EVO III 16g turbo @ 14psi
Competition Clutch Stage 4
560cc EVO injectors
SS Autocrap mani (it was free don't tell me I know!)
stock SRT-4 intercooler
Greddy Type-S BOV
Apexi SAFC to dial in the a/f with the dizzy manually retarded (bad tuning method bandaid fix)
MSD plug wires
Gutted from the seats back (weighed in at 2380lbs w/ 3/4 tank of gas)
I can't wait until my S300 and new ECU arrives to tune it properly with the 3 bar map sensor! Can you say 11's in the quarter might be in order!

Thanks man! Even know I told him to wait until I got home so we could take it to the track together, I'm sort of happy he did! Plus, I think he could do better with more practive on the 60' with slicks. He only did a 1.9, but it is the first time the car has seen the track.

No, I just upgraded from a small 16g to the EVO III 16g since the original turbo died. It has more than enough huff to get the job done. I'm not even remotely stretching it's legs yet. EVO III 16g's have been proven time and time again to put down 380-400+whp easily in the DSM community.
The balt made 238whp and 230wtrq on the same dyno with all the mods in my sig minus the meth just to give you an idea of how low it rates.
Here they are. From when I first drug it to my house to the way it sits now in order. New pics are needed as it's lowered on sportlines now, there are some other changes, and is being slowly prepped for a badly needed paint job.
First drug, I literally mean drug to my house!

Got the car up and running a few days later with the turbo in and all the self fabrication done.

Here is two from the carnage of my buddy adjusting the boost controller and then me following right behind him and doing the same without either of us knowing what the other did. Also, don't follow ARP's instructions of putting in ARP headstuds hand tight into the block, torque them to at least 10ft.lbs. Then follow the rest of the instructions! This happened only 2 hours after we replaced the headgasket!

Finally, the new shoes that will go on after the car is painted and the suspension is aligned.

No doubt! A $500 dollar heap to begin with!
I never thought I'd like a Honda product, but I love this damn integra for some reason. Not sure if it's because it's so fun to drive and fast as hell, or that it's a great project to work one, but for some reason I really love it. Brought back from the dead to rule the streets once again!
i know. dammit. now i want a project. thanks dick

and no1 would suspect that is that fast

That's is true. No one has ever suspected how quick it is. Not the Vortech SC'd Mustang GT, not the Mustang Saleen S281 Supercharged, not the modded 3000GT VR4, and many others added to that list until they saw the tailights!
Here are some old vids just to see what it was like around 11-12psi on the old turbo.

Ya know, for being deployed you certainly are on the web a lot.
BTW, What branch are you in? I'm looking to do EOD in the Air Force and I read somewhere that you do EOD. I can't remember.
