Ls2? Nope. Its a 04 chevy truck bottom end with cnc ported l92 heads and a big cam plus the basic boltons, has a kit but he wasn't using it.

 

same **** more or less. Its like saying the engine in the auto camaro isnt a LS3, its a L99, when really theres not much of a difference. (cylinder deactivation is the only diff IIC)

IIRC the 6.0l truck motor is a LQ9...same as the LS2 only uses an iron block

 

oh nice! I just assumed LS2 with it being a 6.0, my bad... Is it an LQ4 or LQ9 bottom end, and any specs on that cam by any chance? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just digging that TA!

Cam is 233 239 on 113 lsa which is .595 .603

 

The roll wasn't too bad for him having double your power
