trouble opening headlights

I can't for the love of god open these headlights! The sealant comes off and is gooie but I pull and can't get them off I tried heating the edges but it makes the plastic weak and it broke twice but the lens won't come off. I tried heating through the low beam hole and still nothing just got the hole of the reflector burned. Any tips?

Put them in an oven 1 at a time at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Have gloves and a thin putty knife or box cutter to cut the goo when you spread them apart

I got them open with a hairdryer lol it worked better than the heat gun -_- now getting the glue off is a pita :/

I cleaned the housing taped and peeped then I go out side to paint and the a lot of wind and dirt in the air -_- ... I guess god doesn't want me to paint my lights lol

Trust me...
put some wood on the oven rack and bake each headlight alone for 15-20 minutes at 200
