Rfl?
Hey everyone. I'm new here, but I've owned my ss for about 3 years. I have an Injen intake, ZFR, zzp intercooler, a 24psi tune, and much more. I seriously love my car, but i have just a straight pipe right now and i don't really like the sound... my question... i know that the rfl sounds pretty good, but problem is, i know that it may be loud and full of drone. What are you guys running? I'm trying to decide between the two, any comments would be seriously helpful.

RFL combined with the ZFR will really not be much different than your current straight pipe setup. The RFL was perfect on the stock turbo but with the larger turbo setups, it's going to be much louder.
My RFL/6758 setup sounds good but it definitely drones. I'd suggest the TXS GT exhaust if you're focused on TXS or maybe even look at the MPx 3" exhaust.

Great advice guys. So does the extra one resonator that the fl has compared to the rfl really make a big difference when Im running a Zfr, seems like itll be kinda loud either way.

Ok so my final question is... does the FL and the RFL have the same tone, just fl is quieter? Or are they both completely different. Tone means a lot to me, and if they both sound the same I will make up my mind lol

I have the GT exhaust from Turbo XS. Its louder than factory at wot but not that bad. The basic change was deeper tone, slightly louder. Cruising felt the same as the factory exhaust. If you want a 3" exhaust but dont want to pay for an exhaust fix it ticket down the road, get the GT exhaust. P.S. They sell the rear sections of the exhaust separate for like $275 if I last remembered. You could get the GT exhaust and then buy a RFL rear section and swap em when you want. 2 bolts and done.
