Installed B&M shifter *PICS*

Installed this last week.

Its not short like the j-body B&M, but like all their shifters this one ROCKS!

Includes Shifter Assembly and upgraded aluminum bushings. Solid feel with shorter, smoother shifting. I think its better looking too!

If anybody is interested... I don't know what they're selling for but I think my buddy has the best price on them. $145.59 shipped from karo @ www.carcustoms.net

Here are some pics:

Lookin' good.

I got mine on about a week ago. I repalced that B&M knob with a MOMO knob. The b&m knob does make it appear shorter than my setup, but the feel of my new knob is a big difference from the b&m.

I did like it better than stock though.

HAve you found that if you put it in fourth, that you forget and think it is in neutral? I love this product.

BTW what happened to your driver side floor mat? It looks like it got bleached.

LOL
No bleach, just some dry leaves. Time to give her a good cleaning.

I was wondering the same thing.

My stock knob came off yesterday and I was looking at it and wondering if it would be possible to cut threads into it and use it on the B&M shifter assembly. Seems like it would work.

It seems like you could, but you would have to see if the diameter of the B&M stick is going to be big/small enough to fit in the hole. Otherwise, you won't be able to get the knob to stay on....maybe if you used a strong glue it woulod work though.

Besides, the knob is light compared to the B&M and others, and that does make the shifter feel different.

Looks good !
Your interior looks exactly like the interior of our 05 SS !
We just installed the b&m shifter about a week and half ago, pics arent up on our website yet, but should be in the next few days. We have them in stock at $144.99 and ship out the same day that you order via FEdex !

Look for pics in a thread from us shortly !
