06' Cobalt w/ 1st ever Garrett Alpha Turbo Kit (Project Car by SCT) (Lots of Pics)

Yes, that’s right this is the Chevy Cobalt with the first ever Garrett Alpha Turbo Kit, it was the project car done by SCT. My name is William, I am the owner of the ‘06 Cobalt. However, I just recently got surgery on my ankle and so I won't be able to drive the car or any car as a matter of fact, for a while. This car has a custom SCT tune, very low mileage, and one hell of a sound system in it. I am upset to be selling this vehicle but there is nothing that I can do about it, so I am trying to make the best of it and let someone else enjoy this monster. The car had only been completed for three days before I got the surgery, so it is in mint condition. Also, the turbo is super clean and looks stock. I'm looking for around $17,000, because of all the time and material put into it, but shoot me an e-mial if your interested.

Here is a list of what’s in the car:

2006 Chevy Cobalt LS

Mileage: 5635

Performance Mods:
1st ever Garret Alpha Turbo Kit w/ custom SCT tune (Livewire Included)
Garrett Boost Gauge (Not installed I didn’t have time, but included)
Spec performance clutch
Custom Corsa Exhaust
Custom Strait Line Pipe
267hp at wheels

Audio:
Boston SL 60 (6 ˝) component drop-in speakers
Boston SL 95 (6 x 9) w/ tweeters (installed custom on front dash)
Kenwood (DDX6019) 6.95” Wide Double-DIN In dash Monitor DVD/WMA/MP3 Receiver
2 x 12’’ Boston G5 Subs w/ Custom Box
JL audio 500 x 1 Amp
JL audio 300 x 4 Amp

This is definitely a sound quality system

Exterior:
20% tint all windows
Viper Security System W/ Remotes

E-mail me at MrWillieT000@aol.com if you are interested

Here are some pictures of the car:

Good sleeper.

But you do realize when you modify a car it's value goes down?

yeah. a used ss s/c is only worth like 16-17k(and thats as loaded as it gets for a cobalt... xm, sunroof, recaro's, pleather, factory pioneer setup, etc.). 21k for an Ls (turbo or not) is asking a bit much. i think if you're actually gonna get that much for it, you'll have to sell it locally, or on another forum. (we all know what used cobalts are worth )

I, personally, would just keep it till i got better, and could enjoy it.

Cool car. The work looks very clean and professional. IMHO though you are not going to see that asking price. Good luck though. Free bump.

I appriciate it. I may get one of the guys at SCT to go and take it to the track for me to get some times. The thing is, that I'm on crutches for 3 months and a boot for a month or two after then rehab... it will be a while till I can drive, and I just dont want the car to sit and rot for months before it gets driven again.

price is WAY too high, KBB says it's worth $10,600 in excellent condition. you might get $15k for it to someone who is looking for THAT setup but gooooood luck with the sale...

your install is clean and professionally done but i'd think about the price some more, the mods don't make the car worth any more to anyone except the one or two people who would want the car exactly that way.

i sold my 350Z for $19,500 a while back, it was worth $18,750 but had over $10k in parts on the car when i sold it, and it took over 8 months to sell because not a lot of people wanted it modded that way.

i'd say post a video of it in action, a walkaround, a rev video, turbo sound, take it to the track and video tape it,
and you'll have this car sold.

(but you're not going to sell it for 21K,unless you post a track time of it running low 13's or something..then..i may havetobuy that bitch
lol

how are you geting 267 whp?! i thought the 2.2l ecotec could only handle 250hp...which means less to the wheels....probably abut 240+whp.
