i want one of those hoods but quick question???

is that hood scoope functional or is it just for looks? i am really down for buying one though it looks sweet like the srt 4 hoods do about time looks better than that rk sport stock hood they are selling.

i'm pretty sure it's functional. i see mesh where the scoop is so most likely it will be functional.

I may be interested as well, but I don't know if I'll be able to aquire enough funds in time.
How much would we be saving by pre ordering, if any at all?

is that secure enough to not worry about the hood flying up? i mean, no hood pins will be required?

Not sure if any non-SS owners are interested, and I'm asking sorta out of curiosity but will that hood not fit on the non-SS versions as well since the car is almost identical in design...or would additional modifications be required?

Thanks,

Permafried-

today i hit 150 mph , in a controlled environment. no problems with the hood. my srt hood also has never had issues and we rub 125 mph traps in the 1/4. remember as air enters this hood it exits out of the back of the hood trough an opening
