Next meet for OCC members - Sept 25/05
Calling on all OCC members and potential new members, looking at proposing the following for the next meet:
Date: Sunday, Sept 25, 2005
Time: Meet at 8:00 am at Highway 410 and Steeles (exact location TBD)
Leave for Cayuga at 9:30 am from this location and meet up with other Southern Ontario owners at QEW and exit to be announced
Arrive at Toronto Motorsport Park (Cayuga) approx. 11:00 - 11:30 am
Spend all day at the track and then go for beers later on
This is just a proposal. We have not had an opportunity to cruise around together and I think a day at the track would be fun. Let me know your thoughts everyone!!!

I think Sept 25/05 is the OSCA meet....My dad runs in the 11.90 bracket with a 95 Z28 LT1 but has run 11.60's at 118mph on the motor (No turbo, supercharger or NOS) There will be lotsa cars there....should be fun....If you wanta make more runs you will have too run in the 13.90 bracket as the test and tune will be hard too run as the OSCA is a huge meet.........Colin
I'm in, and if what he says is true, maybe we should go to St Thomas Dragway, I always run faster there anyway.
I'll bring grandsontario.com. There will be a 14.19sec N/A Grand Am 3400, a 14.22 S/C Grand Am 3400, some 1991-1993 Quad 4 Grand Am's, and some GTP's ranging in time from 13.01-14.50
I'm only going if there is test and tune, not going if there is bracket racing only. St Thomas has test and tune sundat 10am-4pm.

I am in....................for shure!!!!!! Let's show them all how Canadians rock!!!! When everyone sees the pictures they will all just melt like butter!!!!!!! Installed the new B&M short shifter and want to see how it works at the track. If we can get the same turn-out, plus I am sure that we'll get more this time........It will be an excellent day for the Cobalt club!!!!!!! Everybody....... bring cameras and video. This may be the last time we get to do this before the winter starts. Jonel.....................wait for the pics with baited breath!!!!
My buddies drive Camaro LS1, 05 Stang, 02 Stang, C6 Vette. They're all coming! If test and tune is gonna be tough maybe we should go to Grand Bend, St. thomas was crap last time we went. Right lane 60 ft times and trap speed were busted all day. My buddies have Shannonville rented out on Oct. 7th and it's the pro track all day, along with Cayuga the following Sunday, so everyone is welcome to those other two events

$25.00 per person to get into the Park. From what I can get from the website, Test and Tune looks like $20.00 but I will get clarification on that. Directions and website link is available in my orginal post.

I'll likely come down too.
You will know you're close when you see the old green barracks style buildings on the left - since the track is an old air force wartime training airstrip.
I used to know the guy that managed the dragstrip, but the place has changed hands at least once since then for sure - no idea who runs/manages it now.
