I am sorry guys.
Trust me I don’t enjoy taking the site down, but sometimes there are no other options but to take it down. It’s part of the growing pains of a large site.
I hope this fixed the issues we had.

 

it definatley felt like a week, it wrecked my work days too! kinda sad actually.....

so are you gonna tell us what happened to make it go down? i think a bunch of us asked already

Sure, like I posted numerous times, we had database errors problems.
To solve that:
We closed the site and did many server and sql setting changes and optimization. The problems continued when we broth it back online so we took it down again and found hardware issues (memory to be exact). We addressed the memory problem and hope this is it.

yeah, i never noticed how much time i spend on this site till it went down.

Same here, I was like a crack fiend, trying to log in every half hour or so, just to get let down by that damned error msg

I'm ashamed,,, I actually went to ss.com to get my fix for a minute,,,, I feel dirty, lol

 

LMAO that happened, to me, i committed treason also, i went to .com to see what it was like and i gotta say, its like shooting a .22 after shooting a .50 lol

Yeah SS.net back online...until it goes down again.......and my vB garage is down? Why do we pay for Premium membership again?.....I need a free t shirt or something...I haven't even been able to access my Pm's for my for sale thread for days...came back when the site was back up and I wasn't a Premium member anymore bc my year expired...even though the last month of it, the site has been down......So now I paid my $9.49 again just so I could edit my FS thread...this is ****........If tons of members are paying close to $10 then there needs to be better site maintenence.....

and fk you to...I'm a mechanic...that means $10 goes a long way...why I have to pay $10 just to post on a site?....I couldn't even edit my already made posts without renewing it.....

 

what r u saying about mechanics? and nobody made you send the site 10 bucks, its not like you need to donate to be able to use the site, just stop crying about it, the site is going to be down whenever it needs to be, and its for a good reason.

 

I would never pay to use a forum. It's just a discussion forum. What should I be paying for exactly? And this site goes down more than any other site I know of. Like all the other sites put together aren't down as much as this one is. So if I was going to pay for a membership, like a retard, for a PUBLIC forum, then it sure wouldn't be this site.
