but hes at a disadvantage though. the cat on the right has momentum and height on his side. the cat on the left will surely loose balance and fall upon impact, causing catastrophic damage

I don't think so. The cat on the left has a pretty good stance, and it looks like he's winding up for one hell of a bish smack
