hello cobalt ss members

i would like to propose an idea that could very helpful to all members buying/selling parts for model specific cars

have you ever gone into the classifieds parts forum and u been scrolling threw 5-10 pages of parts in the last day or two that are new threads and previous threads with new comments and its just overwhelming

heres my idea i would like to see model specific sections lnf, lsj ect ect
because ive had many times where i have been looking threw post after post and pmed a member asking a bunch of questions come to find out that his part isnt even for my car

if we could have a section basically just filtering posts that would be a huge help for example

BODY

SUSPENSION

WHEELS TIRES

maybe not exactly like that but we can leave the design of it up to the site creators and they can make it happen for us so were not going threw 10 pages of posts if we miss a day where we cant get on to look


members if you can leave some feedback and ideas on how we could improve my idea and make it better i think we can all benefit from this and make this site more user friendly when it comes to our classifieds

I agree, every other forum I've been on it's broken down into categories. Not just "Parts". Lets do it.

A good majority is universal...

Performance
Chassis (wheels, breaks, tires, suspension)
Then Non performance

That would be better. Though if they make any new rules they need to make a waiting period/post count before you can even view the classifieds.

 

Breaking down by specific application would be good, however what about the post were some one has 2-3 LSJ engine parts and some body/interior parts, or a Part Out of an LNF where most of the parts are universal but the engine is LNF specific?

 

If people would just list stuff properly it wouldnt be as bad
