are you serious? we get more, "there are way too many mods" than "we need more mods". please point to me something that needs more mods than what we already have? incidents like what happed yesterday are unexpected and will happen regardless of how many mods we have. they happened to attack us when no mods were around. as soon as a mod got online he took care of it and then more mods showed up and helped out as well. i think we are just fine for the amount of mods we currently have.

 

How many mods do we have? Only a handful. With the growing number of members and the possibility of attacks again I believe its in the sites best interest to get a few more mods.

 

I have to weigh in here. I honestly don't think we need more mods. What we did need yesterday was for the members to give the mods a "report bad post". That would have got us on it much quicker. Once we knew about the problem, we were able to stop it pretty quick. We kindda depend on the members to let us know about bad stuff when they find it.

i like our mods, yes some are on here more fequently then others.. but hey we all have to have real lives too... keep up the good work

ok, so maybe we dont need mods. Seeing as we have 11? I've only seen posts ever from 4 or so. Halfcent being the one I see reguarly. Maybe if the mods were a little more involved in the site? Talking to the members?

I'm in no way saying I hate our mods, I'm not against any of you but its easy to see why theres this out cry right now because most people like me only see a few mods while on the site. The site is great, theres no doubt about that. (I prefer this over that other one that we cant mention)

 

true some mods are more active than others but we all contribute in our own way. 11 mods is a nice number to have. of course not all 11 of them will be on at the same time but we try our best. here is a list of the mods that i can think of off the top of my head in no particular order...

- are the mods that i hardly ever see... especially #6, that doesnt mean i dont think they contribute b/c im sure they all do there share to keep the site running great

 

 

some mods prefer to just mod quietly. you won't see it. they are the ones that move threads to their proper sections w/out posting, warning/banning members and so on. i try to talk it up with the members on the site as much as possible but i also tend to get the most complaints so i guess it goes both ways.

 

Great job Mods. I didn't see any of the crap, but glad that I won't have too. I think we have a sufficient number of mods.

What happened seemed to be a planned attack. Requesting more mods for that would be like saying we need more cops at a bank because it got robbed. It's done and shouldn't be too much of a problem in the future IMO.

 

^^nah just do like my bank and slap a "Bank Security" magnet on the side of one of the tellers cars... i never see an officer, but there is always "security"

I usually just move stuff into their correct forum board, and also check up the "Bad Posts." Usually when I get home the posts have already been fixed. I wish I could stay on here 24/7 but with my job and life that just cant happen.
