like i said it isnt going to do anything. so one part of the site is gone, who cares, itll be posted elsewhere, or other sites. people do illegal things all the time knowing its illegal does that stop you? nope

removing talk about it isnt going to do anything. stupid decisions = consequences. if u cant handle them, dont do it.

oh and p.s. u should stop downloading that music and videos u didnt pay for, because u know thats illegal

IMO, taking away the "War Stories" section won't do much in the way of cutting out street racing threads. I too am guilty of the occasional street challenge, but I see the war stories section as a place to put your track based experiences too.

dont read it if u dont like it, people die EVERYDAY from fast food heart attacks, from cancer, and everything else.

how many deaths are there everyday from street racing? just because ones on dr. phil that means it happens all the time? it happens what like once a month? that we hear of? maybe less? i dont see fast food joints out of service, i still see cigarettes everywhere. and second hand smoke has been shown to cause deaths. so i think those should get banned first

its choice, u cant do anything about it. this is a useless thread

Not to be mean, but street racing stories are in the Section War Stories...and so they are all their... just dont go in that section if it bothers people so much.

sorry an0m but im not with u on this one...street racing is apart of the reason why this "scene" is around...from the 60s with there muscle cars on to us..its modern muscle...not everyone can afford a strip car nor does that tickle there fancy...now do i feel its safe..NO! do i do it...YES!...why would i build a 350+whp daily driver car on military pay to only run it when the local track is open...which is only an 1/8th mile and track prep sucks...im sorry i love when someone rolls up and thinks they can spank me. and the bad stories about it makes people realize that they need to be safe when doing it.

Okay I'll probably get flamed for this so hold on a sec....(Puts flame suit on)
Let me start by saying yes I have and still do street race.
Thou my groups version of street racing is at a local area police don't have jurisdiction in and the road we use is 3 miles straight with no turn offs and no houses and is not even on a map.
This is still stupid I know but here me out.

I got into cars with my first car at 16.
A 1989 Camaro RS with the 2.8L V6.
It wasn't fast but it was quick enough for my age that I could get myself into trouble in a heart beat.
Which is what happened and thank god no one was hurt and the cars weren't damaged.
I then got with a group of pro race car drivers who taught me how to handle a car. Where the limits were.

I'm 20 now and still race on ocasion. But I don't brag about it. In my videos posted from the race between me and John2K5 at the end it clearly says : DO NOT DO WHAT WE DO!!!!
TAKE IT TO A TRACK AND RUN LEGAL!!!

Street racing is gonna happen.
Should it be banned on CSS.NET?
I say no. Because the people who read and respond to those post are at a point to remind people the dangers.

That and the primary registration of this domain is thru Scottsdale, Arizona as such its America and we have a thing called Freedom of Speech... God bless America!

Okay let the flaming begin.....

I agree. I get a kick when people go online and and start shoving Bill of Rights in people's faces... Internet != USA.

That said, I don't street race, but I'm against censorship of any kind. There is nothing to be gained from artificially impeding the spread of information, true or otherwise.

there's lots of censorship on this site actually, as well as most sites. most other forums i visit don't have a street racing section because that is not the type of attitude or members they want posting. these other car sites though have been around for ages and are well established.

I have to say if there is any more censorship here then there will be no point of me posting...I am going to laugh whenever people just quit posting on ss.net. Its happening slowly there has been many members it seems leave in the past little bit.

Without members there is no ss.net..got to remember that.
