The members. A lot of senior members that helped make this site the great site is once was are gone. It's over run by noobs, pissing matches, Emo G/F trouble threads, and bullshit. Not much technical anymore. See many build threads? How about new track times? Not like it used to be.

There is a few new build threads well 1 that I know of so at least 1 of them. I think the site is just in a lull since a lot of the senior "Technical" Members are not around. Some of them are still here but they don't post. Yes there have been a ton of db errors and server busy screens for me too. I know what you are getting at Lewis but I am not sure this is going to start the revolution you crave. I liked reading the technical stuff. If I had more money I would be doing a build thread too. I just don't post what I would want to do because I will be bombarded by Your doing it wrong or any type of other flamage. Or people annoyed with questions I may ask or get all ruffled because of something that is said. There is a lounge for emo or the like crap. If I don't like it I don't read it. All I know is I miss talking to some of those guys. Just my 2 cents

I am working on the problem. The server is busy at periods of heavy traffic. I am working on some server optimization.
To the people that posted negative comments, thanks for your support

you should try closing the site for a week
no one would be complaining about temporary slowdowns after that

We've had a week long shutdown before, it was not fun... I'm sure the last thing the admin wants is to shut the site down for any length of time

Why dont you guys just set it up so the server can handle DOUBLE the people it can right now.

Nobody does **** cuz the economy sucks!

We should come up w/ a way to sponsor a car every few months. Have one random member get 10 dollar donations from everybody and put together a performance package through one of the supporting vendors. It would bring in new members ( obviously only premium members would be eligible for the drawing ).

You don't realize the cost of hosting such a server do you? I was part of a forum where they had private slots, those we're $7.50 a month. They have enough people where that pays server dues and occasionally hosts a contest to give back to the community of members. Here, you are all lucky where its only $10 a year. Now I don't know how close that comes to paying for a server such as the current one. But to double its current capacity doesn't seem to be within the spending limits. Lets not forget that someone is gonna have to make up the difference that the premium member club doesn't cover.

Johnny, keep up teh good work. ReignSS, get a job you bum.... JP but great work around here.

They make a lottttttt of money off advertisements. Youd think after 3 years of being a website spending 500 here and there for server upgrades, theyd just spend a little more and get a bigger upgrade. Buying in bulk FTW.

this **** is annoying.... i know for a fact if he gets 400 people to go premium thats 400*10, so its 4000 dollars, you cant tell me that all the server fees and costs are 4000, he can obviously put some money into the shitty setup to help keep a more reliable site. nasioc does not have this issue and they have more members then this site does and way more traffic.. im seriously done with a site that cant be kept running, im on multiple forums and this one is by far the worst as far as reliability goes.
