i was smart..i have had to get into the habit on this site of "ctrl+c" before attempting to submit a post or thread cause its a toss of the dice on if it posts or not

so...here
the server...FIX IT !!!!!!!!!! for the last two days its been going down, database errors, server to busy errors ....i can accept some wait while things get fixed, but this has been going on for 2 years...patients (sp?) is over...why cant this get fixed, a different server, different, host....dont care...thats what we pay every year and what the supporting vendors pay for...for us not to deal with it...
but seriously...for those that are using this site for tech builds...and it goes down making so they dont ahve then info they need to finish, people int he middle of selling or buying something and it goes down and they cant finish what they were working on, people (like myself) who have a meet the next day that people are driving 3+ hours for and if the site goes down they and others cant get ahold of me or others and the meet may end up a bust and peopl with have wasted gas for nothing....

I'm in total agreement with you. Its a pain in the ass for me too. I've been trying to find directions to our meet tomorrow as well and when it takes an half an hour to get the page to load it, really makes me want to throw a cat out the window.

we have to many ppl join the server cant handle it time to upgrade i have been having the same problem

 

not it at all, we are so big to begin with and the site has pulled in so much revanue that it should be upgraded to a point of running all this anyway...the # of members is nothing new..

I'm only here for entertainment anymore. It's too hard to get tech stuff discussed and when it does, it dies quickly. This server is bi-polar

 

I am with you. The server has tons of issues and I KNOW there is MORE than enough money coming into this site to have it run properly. I also know howver that the person running this site is pretty stubborn and have been confronted about this issue before and have done NOTHING to fix it.

I won't hold my breath but hopefully something gets done.

 

I'm ready to hack the server and just put this out of it's misery. LOL

Usually I am reserved in complaining about servers, but as a paying member, this is utter ****.

Why start a bring down the server thread.......... All i have to do is type something longer than 2 sentences in a reply and the server cough's up a lung.

 

this **** is annoying the **** out of me! how is it that ls1 tech never has any problems and yet when i click on my css.net page is always says database error? come on it does not cost that much to upgrade to a new server! this is complete bs if this **** dont get fixed soon im renewing my membership on here for good! so what do u have to say about that?!

This is just plain bullshit.

I'm on another forum for demolition derby. We have over 30,000 members and the forums are way more active than here. One big difference is there isn't storage for your pics on that forum... but the other HUGE DIFFERENCE is that the server it's on is FREE!

That's right, it's hosted on suddenlaunch.... No issues.

Check out www.wecrash.com. Not a bad site, especially since it costs practically nothing and ALWAYS WORKS.

I also usually reserve my complaints, but I too am a paying member, granted so far only the $10 premium membership, but the server errors and database issues are just TOTAL BS......

I'm about fed up.

 

I see that a lot of Mod's are agreeing with the Premium Members here. What did we pay for? I sure as hell dont want my 10 bucks going to someones Playstation. It should be to a new server. And cant you Mod's actually talk to the owner of this site and get him to do something? I know you guys have some sort of power.
