I came across another forum that has a "shoutbox" at the top of the forum page. Basically its a chatroom of sorts for random comments or for members to communicate.

I think it'd be a great amount of fun... and hopefully cut down on some whoring..

there's a chat room here, no one uses it... everyone bitched that we "need one so bad" and it's always empty... you can go there if you want to randomly talkto members

 

we already have at chatroom and it is the same thing basicly and no one ever uses it!!

 

Shoutboxes are server intensive and also not easy on slower connections.
We will not considerone at this time.
