Hey,

Your phone is great, it looks like a browser infection by malware. That can occur when an ad partner serves up an ad (anywhere on the net) that has been hijacked. They usually don't continue as Google eventually removes the ad. I have had similar issue over the years and use Malwarebytes to remove them. IB is trying to track down the source of this one. Thanks.

I have this all the time on one particular website but have been seeing it more and more.

It's either an app on the phone with too many permissions or it's an advertising source on the website you are browsing.

It is not a virus on the phone itself.

It is definitely from their ad server. Install an adblocker and the problem disappears.

Thank you for letting me know, I will pass to IB. I do know it's a 'whack-a-mole' effort by both IB and their ad partners to remove browser redirects from bad ads.

Hi,

Thank you for letting us know. Do you have a link to the thread or post that triggers the pop up? Thanks.

Thanks! Also, if you can grab a screen shot of the page as I'm looking for an Ad that is serving this crap up.

The ad popped up on several other communities, your screen shot allowed IB to quickly have it removed. Thanks!

Awesome!

It happened again once last night. I tried refreshing to see the ad that caused it but I couldn't reproduce it. May have been a fluke. I'll post again if it happens.

Go figure it's only you
To be fair I did post a while back the ridiculous amount of back end scripts this forum runs (and I block most of them).

Thank you. There is a hacked Ad partner that needs to be removed, I'll let IB know.
