First suggestion, everyone take a photo now of the place they plan to park the Cobalt, then the first to post a pic of the car in that spot WINS

yes more power on the gto, and a new less proven motor, LS1s can be modded the **** out and still have room that ls2 is like sticking a quarter through a nickle slot machine, sometimes ya just have to work with less. to me i feel that ls2 is modded out from the factory my dads a big chevy fan thus why he has such nice cars, fast cars.
he has a 95 ZR1 Corvette runs 12.8 1/4 mile times stock.
98 trans am WS6 convert, loaded (warenty just ended so mods are on the way)
04 GTO making plans for the future, tellin mer about an 8 seccon yellow one he saw videos of

I wish my dad was as cool as your dad. He buys Duramax Diesel pickups and boats etc. Our sportiest ride is my moms 02 GTP, which is alright except that it's auto and FWD.
About the LS2 though, sure it has more power but it also has more displacement, so I'd imagine there is still lots left for aftermarket and modders to make it a freakin' beast. I'm sure it won't take long to be a proven motor either... it's a small-block chevy, enough said.

I might lease too. Will need a new car next year and I want a waranty.
Just depends if it drives as nice as it looks. The 5 speed (shifter/clutch) have to be really, really good--or I will likely pass.
