Tapatalk for vbulletin

not sure if this is in the right forum or not, but i figured it was worth asking.

Is there any chance of getting the tapatalk plugin installed for cobaltss.net? its a vbulletin plugin that lets the iphone/android app called tapatalk access the forums for easier browsing on phones.

I love browsing cobaltss and using the forum how-to's and guides when working on my car and its much simpler to use my phone than drag a laptop outside

its a free plug-in, info can be found below

Tapatalk - Forum App on the iPhone, Android, Nokia, and BlackBerry for vBulletin, phpBB, IPBoard, and SMF

^ This

Most of the other forums I visit have phone friendly themes, but the one that runs this one sucks to load on a phone. I have it installed on our forums, seemed to have gone over well. Doubt they'll install it here since they wouldn't get their ad revenue haha

There have been other threads on this issue in the site development/suggestions forum. Everyone should check out NASIOC's app if they want to see how to do it right (for FREE). It really bugs me that we don't have any options for a cell phone friendly forum feed.

there's been so many threads on this and everytime the new owners say the same thing..."we want to keep it free" and although tapatalk is free to install on the forum, to get the app on your phone, it's like 3.99 or something...ugh

Some people alreay have it. But how is this different then having to become a Premi Member just for some stupid decals? Yea, that's fair. They're not here to keep it free. Or they would be out of business

PS, and for jailbroke iPhones, the app is free (shhhhh. Don't tell)

I love Tapatalk, and honestly, anyone who says they don't like it, has probably never used it. It's the same thing as browsing on your phone normally, but you don't have to keep zooming and crap to adjust the text/picture format and it loads 10x quicker.

My argument is that it can be free. There are forums out there (NASIOC for example) that have created their own forum app that they distribute for free.

To people who hate on this topic and say "just use the browser" - It is super annoying to have to re-zoom every time you load a new thread, plus each page loads much much quicker in a format that was designed for mobile browsing. With so many people using smart phones it is nothing but laziness to have a site with this large of a user base that doesn't support some form of mobile browsing/app.
