Can we have an "Updated Rules" for the site? not just the one that's on the login, i mean ALL of the rules... there seems to be lots of rules that are enforced, but not in the rules... some things are obvious, but would probably be avoided if people knew they couldn't do it.

I second this, theres a great deal of enforced but undocumented or at least rules that are not displayed to the public.

I would also suggest an Inquiry of some sorts into looking towards some more mods, only a handful, but spam is getting kind of crazy, and theres a good gap now a days between mods coming on line sometimes.

 

Agreed! I think it was you who also wanted to clean up the How-To forum? I spent over 2 hours today reporting bad posts, which none have been removed as of yet.

I've been trying to be a mod for sometime now. Dropping hints to DC and Marc.

 

best way to become a mod is to not drop hints...even implying you want to be a mod makes site admins think you want to be a mod for the power trip...at least in my experience

 

I could care less about the power trip...I'm 28 years old in the Air Force...I just want things to be civil and clean, ie the How-To Forum!

Yea, I was the other one that volunteered time to go through the HOW TO section. I got at least 10 or so removed and only spent a good hour on it. I ended up finding them to fast to report to the mods. Thankfully mine were removed within a day by JonyyB himself. (even got a thank you)

And to be honest I've been trying to get a few more mods since September when it was originally whipped off the slates by all the other mods. (right after the SRT4 attacks) I'd like to be a mod but I think i'm way to "controversial" for them to consider me. Oh well, we still need mods, no doubt.

 

Yeah, "if" I become one, I won't do much posting or comment on some peoples posts like I do now. Just better that way to avoid problems. Like Philco, who moderates quietly!

 

I don't think that I have ever seen a listing of the rules- that I can remember anyway.
