I see we now have a "My Threads" button. But it doesn't function as before.

Previously it pulled up a list of threads which a user had participated in with the most recently updated or posted in thread at the top. Most recently meaning anyone had posted in it, not just the user.

 

Although that my thread button sure helps but yeah the old my post button used to bring the threads that you posted on and bring the ones with the most recent post to the top of the list.

 

The lack of picture compression is getting old. If someone posts an especially large picture it makes the frame HUGE and unmanageable.

I don't know why there would be a difference, are you sure you are not talking about subscribed threads?

The difference is the my threads only shows the thread that I started. The old my post button would show all the thread you had posted on whether they were yours or someone else.

I suppose it was quite similar to the subscribed threads list. Difference being that there wasn't any way to unsubscribe from it unlike the subscribed threads list.

 

It used to compress the pictures automatically

There may be a feature that fixes the pic size in the future but nothing right now. Most of those full screen pics occur because the poster is not familiar with graphic editing tools etc.

Does anyone have time to create a 'How To' for picture re-sizing?

It definitely wasn't an issue before the layout change when this thread started.

 

I had issues with pictures coming out really big in a few threads before the change

My threads is back. THANK YOU BOB. For how old this place is you always seem to take care of us.

 

I did notice one thing, it's not really important since everything is older. The My Threads button only pulls up 14 threads for me. I know I'm not super active on here anymore, but I used to be and those older threads aren't showing.

 

Sometimes i do go to the second page on that too, didnt notice it was missing.

 

Weird mine goes to page 4/ 70 threads.

Ahhh, figured it out. The My Threads URL clips it to 90 days at the end of it. &searchdate=90

Can we knock that last part off the url by default? Removing it grabs all of a user's posted in threads since forever.

You can use Advance Search to define the history parameters for a specific name. It doesn't however create a default search time frame.
