Words that should be banned on CSS.Net
I think there are certain words that should be 'bleeped' out on this site.
The reason? its over used, and quite frankly pisses me off when people use it left and right....(especialy when nobody really knows what it means).
The Word: "Rice".
Thank you.

Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. (R.I.C.E.)Parts put on cars to make them look fast, when they have no internal tuning, and are actually slow as hell. Parts usually consist of excessivley angular bodykits, large rear spoilers, neon, sponsor stickers, chrome rims, fake "coffee can" exhaust tips, and loud, annoying paint jobs and/or vynils. Sometimes parts are do-it-yourself installed and are basically duct taped to the car. Most commonly known for being done to Honda Civics, but can also be done to slow domestic vehicles, such as a Chevy Cavalier, etc.
personaly, nobody really knows what it means since its a word with a made up meaning.
It could mean: Anything done cheaply for better performance/style.
It could mean: Any car with a body kit, neons, etc.
Alot of you are using it, but technicaly the term rice would mean: Any sort of modification done to a vehicle other than stock. This would include(but is not limited to) Neons, LEDs, Body Kits, Exhaust, Intakes, Headers, Pulley Swaps, etc.
It really has no "Set" meaning. One dude said that the stock ss/sc wing is rice...is it rice because its big?
Another said that a cobalt with a really good cav body kit on it (looked good IMO) was rice. Hell, exhaust = rice...right?
this is why i hate it..it causes arguments, and the words stupid and overused.
The end

Why do you even let one word get to you to begin with....why should it even bother you what you read...just laugh at the ignorant people that use it since they probably don't even know what it means in the first place.
Now lock this crap up!
Now lock this crap up!
its just that. for example.
one person says the word "Ok"...at first its just another word....then if he wanted to **** you off..says it over..and over..and over. see the point?
FYI: Good reading here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricer

to me the term "rice" or "ricer" means any car (any car; import, domestic or euro) that has mods done to it that have no added value to the car. for example an excessively big aluminum wing, a obnously loud muffler/exhaust that sounds like a coffee can attached to a lawn mower. also the added visual effects such as led valve stem caps, vynal stickers that dont associate to parts on the vehicle, a body kit that is hanging on with zip ties and carries that primer look (this should be kept to a minimum on old school cars and trucks. i understand that we all dont have the money to install and paint a body kit, so install and prime then paint it in a timely manner). the term(s) in question could also be donated as something that comes from the fast and furious line of products.
the spoiler on the ss/sc could be dubbed as "rice" or "ricer" due the fact that it on the large side and is a little bit excessive. however it does seem to add a little something to the car. some people like it while other do not...its all your opinion. as to with the mods and appearance of your own vehicle.
