Wtf are these bars?
Ok, whats with the colored bars below my username?

I know they're the new "experience" system, but what does each represent?

I read the other thread, didn't really explain it in 5 year old terms like i need.

There are mainly four things visible for the users: The users score, his level, his next level up in %/points and his activity in %.


Calculation of the points
Taken into calculation are these things:
Threads
- Created threads
- Thread views of own threads
- Thread replies of own threads
- Thread votes of own threads
- Thread ratings given
- Thread tags
- Replies to own threads
- Sticky threads
- Socialgroup Discussions (Discussions, Posts)

Posts
- Created posts
- Views on attachments

User
- Days since registration
- Average posts per Day (for users who are on forum for at least seven days)
- Referrals
- Received infractions
- Reputation / Use of reputation system
- Visitor messages on profiles
- Members of own social groups
- Albumpictures
- Friends
- Completing Profile

Misc
- Calendar entries

Uhm, I know one is your 'level' and one is something for activity.. I just want someone to say.. Talk to the guys with a bigger orange bar.. Dont buy from the people with big blue bars.. that sorta thing.

And I just wanna see my bars.

I think a lot of the forums that got eaten up by the company that now owns CobaltSS has this leveling system. The whole thing is slightly annoying if you ask me

of course she does, she makes a thread about her cats, and has 30 pages in an hour. I could put down 700whp on a TVS with dyno charts to match and my thread would take 3 days to reach a page

The forums are owned by the company that makes vBulletin, which means they have to throw every ridiculous thing that they can dream up at us to guinea pig for them.
