The car is apart again and found the leak

Well, today me and my buddy went to work on my car to find the mysterious break fluid leak when i replaced my throwout bearing. Found out that it was leaking from the throwout bearing and where the three bolts that hold that on, the lower left one when looking at it was leaking and it was a constant stream of brake fluid. I did not have a clue what it was and neither did my buddy. So i called Merit Chev. and told them the story and the service manager told me that the clutch that you put in (Centerforce Clutch) should have shims for the throwout bearing and that you pushed the pistion out to far of the bearing. And i was like what?? Why wouldnt centerforce given shims in the first place for the throwout bearing?? SO, then i called centerforce and they told me that there is no shims for the throwout bearing and i knew that but just wanted to make sure. SO in the long run i got a defective throwout bearing....****!!!!!
