What do you guys suggest to use to detail the SS/TC rims?

 

I don't know where everyone went? but you can clean them with our wheel cleaner and our car wax

 

Yep, then use a microfibre or terry cloth to finish them up.

 

mild soap, water, sum diff sized sponges (cut out of a larger one), AND SOME GOOD OLE FASION ELBOW GREASE....

Regardless of what the bottles say, if the chemical eats off brake dust build up, it WILL prematurely eat away at wheel and caliper clearcoat and then paint...just my opinion, but mine are spotless inside and out and that's all i use...i just keep up with it very regularly and it's easy!!

I can atest to it, b/c i had one of the '03 evos with the Brembo clearcoat/paint issues and after 2 years and close to 30k mi, no chipping or peeling on the calipers...i was the only guy i knew who never had issues and no one believed it, but soap and water and regular cleanings does the trick...sorry this ended up soooooo lengthy!

 

See bold text ^^^ I use the above with an old face towel and it works wonders. Its just super tedious around some parts and it'll have you squatting down by the tire for a little while. I just sit on my shop stool.
