Paint fade..?

My 2006 SS/SC is Yellow, and when I got the car, about a month ago, I can tell the previous owner wasn't on top of waxing it and ****, now, where the grille is in the back my yellow is VERY faded on the lip. I can get pictures if needed. I was just wondering how normal this is.

Sorry these pictures might not do justice, but hopefully it can give you guys an idea. It is pretty noticeable in person.

Secondly, I have little things on the back of the car, up to the doors, of what looks like rust dots. They are very small, and I couldn't even get my camera to focus on them, but they're all over, and also noticeable in person. You can sort of see them in the pictures. I think it's like surface rust specs?

It's the flat part of the lip, by the grille. Like I said, kind of hard to notice in the pictures.

I still don't know what those rust specs are from, though.

ok to me looks like them "spots" are tar or paint missing and the black bumper. and the paint that you think is fading is because some paint it on the metal and some is on plastic which causes it to look different this is the same on my vic red and ive seen silver ons look same like look are ur rear bumper compared to your rear quarter panel. You should was the car very good get as much dirt and grime off as you can. Then clay bar it. Then wash again then finally wax the car. You wont be dissapointed at all!

Those things that look like rust specs should come off very easily with clay.
