Okay so Ive seen a growing trend in painted coolant tanks recently! Who all has done it and how much power are you getting out of it? Show em off here!

Im thinking about getting mine powdercoated any day now.

I'm going to let my tanks get sooo yellow that they are technically painted yellow thus 10 wheel horsepowerssssss.

rice i just powder coated a coolant tank for a kid with a honda. the kid left and omg i have never seen v tec kick in so damn fast. he was instantly gone!!!

mine was so yellow. I just swapped it with one of these...easily modded to fit, no need to pour anywhere, just connect the hose.

That yellow coolant tank looks hella proper and i like the idea of the install! Yeah i was thinking one powdercoated red than maybe even anodize the other black. Then i can get the chrome caps from lolmotorsports. They claim to use better orings to keep more pressure in the system which ideally can help raise boost a little more. The paint would also essentially help add pressure to the tank.

For 150 its not too bad of a deal considering i can just swap my stock ones back on for warranty stuff!

I don't paint my tanks I plasti dip them, pearlin on them fools all day!
