I've got a guy in Fife that is interested in buying my Monte Carlo. I'll need a ride back to Sammamish. Anyone?

Thanks guys. Turns out the buyer was from out of state, I didn't have the physical title, and a release of claim won't work. Car is still for sale.

Take my release from lien form down to any D.O.L. office and aplly for a dupe. It takes 6 weeks. He didn't want to wait and I don't blame him at all.

If I am selling it to anyone IN state I just print out the release of claim form, have it notorized (already done) and give that over to the new owner with a Bill of Sale. WA state will issue a new title for the new owner because it is an existing WA state title. This guy was from Iowa, he has to have an actual original or valid state issued dupe in his hand.

oh well.
