Post Turtle Wax Black Box Review

We all know black cobalt's rule the world. This magical box makes them even more amazing.

I'm going to try and keep this review short and sweet.

The black box is pretty amazing. it comes with a pre-wax paint cleaner, liquid carnuba wax, two bottles of detailing spray, and a spray nozzel for the bottles.

Step 1: Paint Cleaner. It is the most time consuming part, you need to apply it as a you would the wax, but your suppose to use the detailing spray to remove it. I didn't read the directions at first, and it was really hard to get off with out the spray lol. The spray helped alot, but even after I used the buffer, i had to wipe down the whole vehicle to get the remaining haze off the car. It did leave the paint with a deeper black color but I think that this would have been more effective if I would have used a polish after using the paint cleaner but oh well.

Step 2-Wax. The wax goes on super easy, dries quick and leaves a great shine and a super smooth finish. I used the buffer as well, and followed up wiping down the entire car with a microfiber afterwards.

Here is why I'm in love with this kit.

1.All of the liquids are black. Black paint cleaner, black wax, black detailing spray, even the 2 application pads that come with them are black. Why is that important? How many times have you detailed your car to find white specs on plastic or in cracks that are a pain in the ass to get off? I see it all the time, and I hate cleaning that ****. With this, none of that, which is a win win in my book.

2. The kit was only like 17 bucks, so price was pretty decent.

3. I thought the results were very good, it minimized swirls, which I found impressive considering I didn't use a polish, and ( i know it sounds crazy) but it seemed like the black wax made some of the rock chips on the car less noticeable.

Bad:

1. On the box it says "if your skin sensitive to black pigments wear gloves when using this product." i didnt have a reaction, but my hands were darker than black when i got done lol, and was a little hard to scrub off.

2. I wish they would have provided a black polish with the kit.

Here are some pics. (they are from my droid, so sorry they aren't the highest of quality)

Looks like a nice car. The swirls are "reduced" because it most likely has fillers on the LSP.

Why no blue box? I hate when paint chips get highlighted by white wax

Black box works amazing! I love it. OP how long does it take you to do everything usually? Usually takes me around 4 hours to wash and wax lol.

100% agree the black box MUST be in the garage of someone who owns a black car. black is by far the hardest color to keep clean and with the aid of this stuff, towel marks, and small blemishes and imperfections ... POOF, GONE! follow that up with a nice thick coat of wax and your car looks like its dripping wet weeks after you've treated it!
