It looks like we're getting a late summer. Me my buddy Tye and my buddy Tony with a black Evo X, want to do a Big Cruise to Ocean Shores in the middle of August! Everybody in the SeaTac and southern area should at least show even if your not cruising. Its 2 hours away from JBLM. Its waaay west of Tumwater. South bound on I-5

 

Ill keep following this. If I have still have my SS Ill make the drive up there. I used to head up there all time.

I have a feeling (cause I know the scene lol) that this will turn into a "how fast can we get to the coast!!!!" cruise....

We don't have time for that. If we a bunch of 16yr olds then I can see where things may get out of hand, but this isn't the case here. I previously owned a Evo X GSR so a lot of the Evo community that will be there are friends of mine from that community. During that time, I made a few connections with a few more enthusiasts across the board ranging from BMW M3's to 2011 and 2012 Subaru Sti's. These are mature enthusiasts that we will be driving with. Half of us are in our late 20's to early 40's with families. This is just an event that we have put together since a friend of mine will be deploying soon and we had planned a "End-of-Summer" cruise some time ago.
I'm looking to see if we can get a great turn out from our LSJ and LNF crowd as so far, it looks like we have more Evo's than anything. We are trying to get a good mix of sporty vehicles together. It would be great if you could make it.



I know what you mean. I'm pushing 31 next year which means Mommy and Daddy didn't buy my LNF for me. I did. It's a simple drive to Ocean Shores that me and my friend Tony (Blk Evo X GSR) have been planning for a while. I made a few calls and got together some more friends of mine to join our trip to the coast. So far we have gathered a decent amout of people but I would really like to see more Cobalts coming to this cruise as I have yet to actually meet the rest of you.



If you're thinking about it, then you should definitely come out with us!.lol

 

Any news on whether or not this is still on? I've been out of the loop pretty much all summer since I've been so busy working at Firestone, but I was curious to see if there would be at least one meet I'd be able to attend before I head back to OSU.
