Fall photos of my GS

Soo we've been having some nice weather here in good ol' NEPA, so I decided to snap a few photos of the GS after I detailed her. Enjoy!

Thanks!

Yeah, the interior is a super nice place to be.

The steering wheel has a fantastic feel, and the seats hug me as well as my Recaro's did.

The battery's in the front? pfft, lame. #datweightdistro

Probably didn't want old people writing letters because they can't find their battery after it died from leaving talk radio on too long after stopping the car to watch the ducks at the pond. I guess it's a good call.

Staged, what food do you prefer to give the ducks? I see the pond in the background, so I put two and two together.

Looking good man, those gs's are really nice cars to drive. I would have had to get a manual though.

I wanted the A6 because it's actually a good deal quicker than the manual.

It has a nice manual mode where you can shift it, but it's still weird for me not having the clutch, so I haven't used it much yet.

I wonder if that cover fits on my engine.

I feel like you ignored my question.

Thanks man.

You cant go reving out 1st like you can in the Cobalts due to some delay, but if you shift at 5500 rpm or so it will up shift to 2nd right before the 6500 rpm limiter. The rest of the shifts are very quick and spot on.

Quickest 1/4 mile times in the A6 were performed using manual mode.

My wife has an equinox (chevys terrain), and I only shift that manually during snow events and slippery roads. It def lags.

The A6 in the GS is entirely different transmission. It's an Aisin AF40.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Technically the same engine.

GS mode adjusts the shift points in stock form. Good enough for me.

VW?!?

I used to like the 20's, but I really like 19's now.

They are lighter to.

Right. I thought that we were going to see fall photos of my G5. Where is the G5....

The pics look good man. Do you have a pic with the engine hat off? The plastic makes it look like it has long intake manifold runners underneath.

Also, do you have any pics of the HiPer strut? I wonder if I could adapt those to the Cobalt....
